Music: Ethernet – Heart Temple

All you potentially need to know about Temples, the new release by Ethernet, is that the man behind the music – Tim Gray – composed the music “in a state of trance meditation, with a focus on the four sacred directions.” And this track, the last piece of this five song collection “is centered on the Heart.”

That helps explain the steady beat that carries this track along, and the gooey warmth that drips out of the speakers like caramel. The other tracks on Temples feel more affected by the natural world, caught in a swirl of wind and heated by the midday sun. This song, on the other hand, feels personal, like it is coming from a well deep within whoever is listening to it.
